EGC 2026 takes place at the Tunçalp Özgen Congress Centre, on the Hacettepe
University Beytepe Campus in the south-west of Ankara.
Whatever way you arrive, the route ends the same: metro line M2 to Beytepe station,
then the free 130 ring bus into the campus.

Follow the "Bus / EGO" signs outside arrivals and take EGO bus 442 (AŞTİ – Kızılay – Airport line) to Kızılay. It runs around the clock; the ride takes about 45–60 minutes.
At Kızılay, go down to the metro and take line M2 in the Çayyolu / Koru direction.
Alternatives: HAVAŞ shuttles run from the airport to AŞTİ and Kızılay. A taxi directly to the campus takes 45–60 minutes (roughly 35–40 EUR, meter on).

If you come from Istanbul or Eskişehir with the high-speed train (YHT), the Ankara YHT station is connected by a short footbridge to the Maltepe Ankaray stop.
Take Ankaray (A1) two stops toward Dikimevi and get off at Kızılay.
Transfer to metro M2 toward Çayyolu / Koru, get off at Beytepe, then take ring bus 130 into the campus.

AŞTİ is the first station of the Ankaray (A1) line — it is inside the terminal building. Take it to Kızılay.
Transfer to metro M2 toward Çayyolu / Koru and get off at Beytepe.
Take ring bus 130 into the campus.
Already in Ankara
All rail lines meet at Kızılay. From wherever you are, reach Kızılay, take metro M2 toward
Çayyolu / Koru, get off at Beytepe and take ring bus 130. Buses and dolmuş (minibuses) along
Eskişehir Road also stop near the campus — look for "Beytepe" or "Hacettepe Üniversitesi" on
the destination sign.
The final leg: Beytepe Metro → EGC venue
From Beytepe metro station, ring bus 130 "Beytepe Metro İstasyonu – Hacettepe Kampüsü"
takes you inside the campus, and the first bus-to-metro transfer is free.
Get off at the stop for the Congress Centre (Kongre Merkezi); signage for EGC 2026 will
guide you from there.
Do not get off at an earlier campus stop — Beytepe is a large campus.
Do not go to the Hacettepe Sıhhiye campus in the city centre — the congress is at Beytepe.
Once you are inside Beytepe Campus, everything is within walking distance. The map below
shows the congress locations: the Congress Centre (main venue), the dormitories and student
residences, the Çatı food & beverage area, the stadium, the open air theater and the
Green Valley restaurant.

Paying for public transport
Ankara public transport uses the Başkent Kart. Cards can be bought and topped up at kiosks
and machines at metro stations, including Kızılay and Beytepe. The first transfer between
bus and metro is free, which covers the 130 ring bus after the metro.
See the official EGO card page.

All metro-connected ring bus lines (searchable)
These lines are listed by EGO as first-transfer-free ring lines between buses and the
metro. Line 130 is the one you need for the congress; lines highlighted in green also
mention Beytepe.
EGO runs night lines from Kızılay and Ulus. The most relevant one for the congress is
line 602-6 (Sıhhiye – Kızılay – Beytepe – Çayyolu). Always double-check the timetable
before relying on one:
